About The Meetings
Since 1956, the NICKEL BELT COIN CLUB has been a staple of the Sudbury Community, offering a place for collectors to meet, discuss coin collecting, display their collections, buy, sell and trade coins as well as participate in the monthly auctions.

Before the meeting begins, members have the opportunity to buy, sell, trade and inquire about items they are interested in. Members can also meet other members as well as have the opportunity to display their collections and have them appraised. Many members of the NBCC are very knowledgeable on coin collecting and can answer any questions you may have about condition, rarity and value. The club also has a large library of coin books including Canadian coins, US coins and coins of the world, both modern and ancient, which members can borrow.

The monthly auction consist of over 50 rare and unique coins, bills and tokens. During the auction, members can not only bid on the items but also submit items for auction. All first bids are 50% of current trends and members, if they cannot attend, can place a reserve bid. Over the last 50 years, the NBCC has had a variety of unique, rare and difficult to find coins, bills, tokens and more. If you are a coin collector, you will enjoy the live experience of the auction.
